Pastoral Care

The TKHC Pastoral Care system plays an important role in students’ development. We realise that our students constantly face challenges with their physical and emotional health, economic and social well-being, and of course, their academics. In this system, we have an in-house programme where experts and homeroom teachers work together to support our students.

We have developed a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) programme to cater to our students’ needs, not only to withstand everyday challenges but also to harness their potential to be the leaders of tomorrow. Our homeroom teachers take charge of designing the programme and implement it during weekly lessons. Other than the SEL programme, TKHC deploys social workers and other experts to support students’ individual social-emotional needs. This group of experts can also conduct lessons that serve to develop students’ personal growth collectively and they even extend such training to the parents in the form of various workshops.

In TKHC Pastoral Care system, we believe collaboration and partnership with parents are the essential elements in making sure our students can succeed in this challenging world. Hence, parents’ support and close communication with our homeroom teachers are equally significant in shaping a resilient learning community.

In order to better support our students’ needs due to the increase of student intake, TKHC is going to set up a Student Support Hub. This will provide more individualised support to your children. Please click here to know more about our Student Support Hub.
