Communication

Parents are valued as part of our school community.  We believe in close collaboration with all families, home-school partnership and use many forms of communication to provide parents with essential information.

The use of the user-friendly mobile app GRWTH is crucial for the centralization of communication and quick & easy access to different kinds of information, including the need-to-know school circulars and urgent messages.  Parents are also required to take initiatives to report students’ absence and submit valid supporting documents for leave application on GRWTH.   Should you need any technical support, please do not hesitate to contact the School Office.

In order to update parents with TKHC’s latest news and developments, school-wide newsletters and virtual coffee talks are made available regularly.  Students’ learning and works will be reflected in the publications while the Principal interacts with parents directly on certain interesting topics to allow all to get connected with our school.

Parents are strongly encouraged to join our various annual events.  Parent Orientation and Goal-Setting Meeting  are the first two events scheduled at the beginning of a school year. It provides parents with opportunities to meet their child’s new teachers, gain a general overview of the class and curriculum and identify students’ targets. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held twice in an academic year to keep parents informed of students’ progress and improvement.

At TKHC, parents’ first point of contact should be the homeroom teachers.  Parents can get in touch and make appointments with them via email if they would like to discuss their child’s learning progress & matters of concern or gain support.  Although our teachers are unable to answer phone calls or check emails while they are teaching, they will get back to you at their earliest convenience.  Thank you for being patient.

Should parents have any changes to contacts, medical information and student or family details, please be responsible for updating TKHC in writing proactively by contacting the School Office via email ([email protected] ).   For any other generic enquiries, non-urgent matters, please email or reach us at 2338 9186 as well.

Visitors such as prospective parents and students are welcome to tour our campus and the facilities.  All tours must be made by appointment in advance to ensure that a member of the school’s leadership team is on hand to answer questions regarding the school, learning and opportunities.  Interested parties please book a visit by submitting the request form online (https://cutt.ly/Vj5u6I6) and our staff will contact you further for the event logistics.
